Job Description

Join a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of legal professionals. We are seeking an experienced Administrative Program Assistant to provide essential support to our Center for Legal Education Excellence. This remote position requires a commitment of 20 hours per week, with daily availability Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Support the Center's leadership team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing travel arrangements, and preparing materials for conferences.
Coordinate logistics for meetings, programs, and events, ensuring smooth execution and participant satisfaction.
Manage routine accounting procedures such as expense reports and contract submissions.
Maintain departmental files and contact lists, ensuring compliance with records management policies.
Assist in coordinating sponsorships for external events and managing related agreements and payments.
Help organize internal staff meetings, social events, and annual retreats, fostering team cohesion and engagement.
Support research staff with data entry and quality checks to enhance operational efficiency.
Actively contribute to identifying and implementing tools and procedures to improve departmental operations.
Candidate Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

Required:

Previous experience in administrative support roles.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines consistently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
Commitment to our nonprofit's mission and values.
Preferred:

Experience in a remote work environment.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
Background in a nonprofit or legal education setting is advantageous.
Public speaking or presentation experience is a plus.
Education and Experience:

Associate degree in business administration or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in administrative or program coordinator roles.
Self-motivated individual who excels in both independent and team settings.
