What We Need:
We’re looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented Executive Producer with a strong background in podcast production and pharmaceutical brand-sponsored content to oversee the creative direction, scheduling, logistics and recording of some of our original Custom Podcasts and Branded Content.What You'll Do:
While producing, delivering, and distributing multiple shows with our production team, the Executive Producer will simultaneously work closely with our sales, reporting, and marketing teams, acting as a primary point of contact for our key clients by communicating effectively with brand teams and executives, clients, and talent.
Pre-Sale :
Assist in the creation of new client pitches and proposals in service of our pharmaceutical clients
Assist marketing and sales teams on positioning hard costs, timelines, and other production elements when speaking with clients
Attend client pitches, internal calls/meetings, and other internal/external communications
Build positive, supportive relationships across internal iHeartMedia organizations
Post-Sale :
Lead the production for multiple shows across our slate of pharma-sponsored Custom Podcasts, which will vary widely from fictional narrative formats to straight two-way interview shows
Oversee creative direction and provide structure for conversations between Hosts and show Guests
Work closely with Writers and/or Researchers to edit and organize host questions into framework for show
Write episode descriptions for listing on podcast platform
Participate in meetings with EP, Editor and Host as necessary
Book talent and coordinate all recordings
Sit in on recording sessions and ensure high-fidelity audio is captured
Provide editor with notes on each episode cut
Deliver edits to clients / stakeholders and answer questions as necessary
Collaborate with PR, Research, Reporting, Account Management and our Executive team to deliver successful campaigns for iHM and our clients.
Identify and hire 3rd party vendors to assist in the execution of specific shows
What You'll Need:
Success in this position will rely heavily on the ability to understand pharmaceutical brand challenges and solve those challenges through the podcast medium. Experience working with pharmaceutical clients and being able to understand, interpret, and service executive requests and concerns is a must. Additionally, strong communication skills and a proven track record in audio production and/or brand storytelling through various mediums is crucial.
At least 5-7 years of project management experience, with proven ability to deliver multi-faceted projects on time and on budget
An understanding of medical regulation practices for content in the pharmaceutical industry
Strong client- and talent-facing background – solid presentation skills, excellent written and verbal skills, and an ability to communicate professionally with big personalities in the entertainment realm
Self-starter, ability to work across multiple teams simultaneously
A passion for podcasting and audio
Upbeat, entrepreneurial attitude
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and wear many hats when necessary
A strategic mind that can plan beyond immediate tasks and always stay two steps ahead
Experience managing teams and 3rd party vendors
A sense of humor!

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
