Pay Rate Information This position is exempt from the Service Contract Act Wage Determination Registry with an hourly pay rate of $30.00-33.00 an hour.
Service Contract Act, or SCA, position pay rates are determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.

Upon completion of six (6) months of employment, the selected candidate can expect an annual salary as a permanent full-time employee with the federal contractor.
Period of Performance: (Tentative)
Current contract period: Date of Hire through May 31, 2025
- start date confirmed after completion and favorable recommendation of federal Public Trust Suitability Determination i.e. Standard Form-85P Questionnaire
- with the potential for annual extensions through May 31, 2027
- preference for placement/transfer as federal contract employee after six (6) months employment with C&C International
Work Hours of Operation: , Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, two (2) 15-minute breaks and 30-minute lunch, except for federal holidays, unless otherwise stated

Non-local travel may be required for special projects, only with prior approval from federal Contracting Officer.

Forensic Technician Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required
- preferred currently enrolled in college courses in Digital Forensic Science, Computer Science/ Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Criminal Justice, or a related field and one or more (1+) years of work experience in computer hardware, network administration, or cyber-crime investigations
•Ability to attain at least one (1) of the following certifications:
- EnCase® Certified Examiner (EnCE)
- AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE)
- Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner (CCME)
- Certification (CCME)
or similar vendor specific certification within 12 months of hiring.
•Experience in forensic data collection and processing of Windows-based desktop and laptop computer systems
Must be able to use forensic tools such as:
- EnCase® Forensic, Forensic Toolkit®, Cellebrite UFED, etc. with supervision
•Demonstrated experience in dead box data acquisition methodologies
•Demonstrated ability to perform entry-level data collection and processing under direct supervision.
•Knowledge of the Federal Rules of Evidence (FRE) as they apply to electronic evidence.
•Experience in preparing affidavits and declarations under direct supervision.
•Demonstrated ability to manage 1 collection or processing project at a time.
Preferred Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in college courses in Digital Forensic Science, Computer Science/ Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Criminal Justice, or a related field and
- One or more (1+) years of work experience in computer hardware, network administration, or cyber-crime investigations
- Hands-on experience using following digital forensic technologies:
- Cellebrite and Magnet Axiom
- Knovos Manage (eZManage)
- Experience working with law enforcement agencies on electronic collections
- Experience coordinating with third-party software and hardware vendors
Forensic Technician Responsibilities/Duties: - Maintain a database and system for processing and tracking Electronically Stored Information (ESI), to include an Electronic Evidence Vault
- Maintain Original Evidence Copies of Electronic Evidence Received from external parties
- Download data received from external parties
- Create working copies of Electronic Evidence Received from external parties
- Determine nature and extent of processing needed by Litigation Support to facilitate access and review of ESI
- Plan and coordinate efforts with law enforcement agencies involved in litigation team activities, including recommending best practices and procedures for collecting and producing ESI using available software so that ESI is received in the most accessible format
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve both software and hardware issues
- Manages and utilizes Cellebrite and Magnet Axiom for complex file types and data downloads
- Enter all tasks assigned within Knovos Manage (eZManage)
