Summary/Objective:
The Technical Recruiter delivers superb customer service to clients and contractors by matching top talent to opportunities with clients. The Technical Recruiter is also responsible for sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. The Technical Recruiter networks online and offline with potential candidates to promote employer brand, reduce time-to-hire and attract the best professionals.
Essential Functions:

1. Develops proactive, multi-faceted recruitment strategies for sourcing, attracting, and engaging candidates.
2. Screens applicants for competency aligned with the job requirements.
3. Writes job descriptions and posts to relevant media platforms.
4. Parses specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes.
5. Interviews candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions).
6. Tracks recruiting activities and provides candidate status in weekly reports.
7. Maintains applicant status in ATS and keeps applicants informed on the application process.
8. Researches new technological trends and products to stay current with market needs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position seldom requires long hours and weekend work; however, the employee is expected to be available if needed.
Travel:
Travel is local during the business day, some out-of-area and overnight travel is not usually requested; however, the employee is expected to be available if needed.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years of professional work experience
